30 73 100 7 125-2 at Inoi as a works wagon in a Taso's shot.
I thought no one of them had ever receive an UIC numbering!
Does anyone know how many of them have survived at their original body?

Hi everybody, I wish you all the best for the new year and of course, happy modelling.

Some nice decals are available from the Decals Union :D
Andreas made the drawings, I worked on the layout and renumbering, Anarous printed and distributes them

The Roco 76845 models were found at erail http://www.erail.gr/
I tried to remove the color and the lettering using oven cleaner but it didn't work, so I used some sanding.
As I want to model Zπ 27924 with the replaced plank doors, I inscribed them using a ruler and the back of an X-Acto razor and slightly sanded to get some wood-grain effect.
I hope It will look nice when painted.

Apart from the Roco model, these decals should fit exact to the Kleinbahn model which I believe to be the same. The Tillig model is a different mould but the decals would probably be exact there too.

Bravo Barba, Taso and Andrea.
These wagons were the famous kontra-plake and had a narrow body according British standard.

Work in progress, the vans were airbrushed with Vallejo 71.271 (RAL8012) and a gloss coat before the decals application.

All five vans have received their markings. A gloss varnish comes next to make the decals film disappear and final a matte varnish will close the body painting procedure.

I have a question though and your opinion will be most apreciated :D

Should I let the frame and buffers painted black as they were at the DB vans or should I follow the US pattern and paint them all the same color?

Here are some factory shots found at the link Christo has given us http://www.stichting162.nl/chaw-goederenwagon/
I think that body, frame and buffers look to be painted with one color.

I'll try some guess, the vans were transported in Greece in their original livery and at some point were repainted brown like all the other SEK vans. Most probably frame and buffers were also painted brown. What do you think?

As you obviously don't give a shit about the color of the Ζπ buffers, I decided that they were brown

Weathering has been applied with enamel, acrylic and oil washes plus various pigments, trying to achieve a well used look
