FGood morning to all members

In the well known french shop known as Pierre Dominique, speciallist in electric trains, there is an offer that could be interesting for some of us

we can found an offer for 3 Jouef base for the SEK Δα51 - Δα70 USATC S100 just for 269€ (it's 89,67 € each)

Though I prefer the REE MODELES sound version, this is a bargain and I hope someone (modelling the Greek scene  ) snaps it up.

christo.

PS. Please note that though some number plates are sold out, there are still 24 plates for sale ;) .

I've not seen the Jouef model, guess it won't be that bad!
Adelardo, I am in, let's wait for the 3rd of us :D

Panagoitis,

this is the Jouef's model in stck for the offer...Jouef HJ2223 Locomotive à vapeur SOYEZ VIGILANT 030 TU 4 de la SNCF.

I've colected as much pictures as I can.

As we can see, it comes as seen in this topic, with one front lamp, in the same side and also the back one. We still have, in both RRE and Jouef models, the problem with Greek window and back tender, easyly done (looking for different solutions, I will tell)

There are other models by JOUEF but not incluided in the offer. I post some pictures of the other three references.

As you can see, little changes in tender facilities, none of them as one in Christo's picture at the beginning of this topic download/file.php?id=5651

Moreover...if nobody wants the 3rd loco, there's a less but cheaper offer for two, Panagoitis (2 x 189€)

For these S100, i have designed window-frames as photoetched parts. This first version is to fold. The result for the first test is was these parts are very difficult to fold. Because of it, i make a second version only to solder. So everyone can choose the better solution. Actually are 4 sets left for 6 EUR each (waiting for the new frames in 8 weeks).

Three years of FORUM running today :D so let us go back thirty years ago.

BM CG MTH Aug86a.jpg

Photo Balkanmodels: August 1986 Mihanostasio Thessaloniki. Δα53 and sister locomotive provide hot water for washing the diesels. Though it is fairly easy to scratch-build, someone  may make a kit one day of the homemade tank on the top of the pannier tank of the loco.

Grüezi Johannes,

Nice work as usual!

Please note however a tiny detail: the Δα were NEVER in such a state of cleanliness!!

True, we live in Switzerland, but, there was a certain difference between SEK/OSE and SBB cleanliness and appearance standards, especially during the last years of steam!! :D :D :D
