From what I know, there are no spring axles or bogies on this kit. I do not know if DJH produce any kits with these specifications. Anyhow this is a photo of S160s lining up for transportation to Europe which I found in an old book in a local bazar.

Yes, the DJH kit hasn't sprung-bogies on the tender nor on the driving axles, too. However , they may be modified by sprung-hornblocks (http://www.clag.org.uk/csb-gallery.html).

The pic of the S160s you present is excellent.

The DJH kit is somehow strange...it has hornblocks but you cannot sprung them....first of all they are fixed with a keeper plate and second the main coupling rod is one piece...this mean you will need so quite heavy modifications in order to make a sprung chassis and this is not easy. I have in front of me a sprung chasis in 0 gauge and I think its a nightmare and it was designed like that....this has to be modified but was NOT designed for that.

Anyway I also thought to sprung the chassis of the S160 but I gave up the plan. I think it is not worth it.

Hello Christo. Excellent pics once more. I love Θγ. I love mainly 100% the American/Greek ΣΕΚ/ΟΣΕ steam locomotives, meaning Θγ and Λγ. Ia m very happy that ROCO produces this model.

Hello Andreas, too. Yes, I agree, it's not worth it to sprung the chassis of the S160 ROCO model. It would be a nightmare, on dissassembling and assembling the rods (Stange). However, I really wanted to make an effort, but very very slowly, for not having any problems, I mean only for the driving-wheels (Triebräder).
