These locos were the first locos to be delivered to Σ.Θ. during the 20th century. They were numbered 30-34 and they were built by Krupp.
Horsepower;350HP or 260kw
Wheel arrangement; 2-6-2T
They came to Volos port in 1935 and were the locos that were used more than every loco by the Germans, but they survived after the war. Moreover, before the war they were used in most of the trains on Thessaly lines, especially the mixed ones even in double tractions with the 1897 StLeonard locomotives.During their last years of service, they operated freight trains only, as the passenger trains were operated by Breda and Linke Hofmann railcars.Their last journeys were when the first diesel locos came (Mitsubishi 9416-9419).After this, they were reused in some excursions and then they were transported to Volos Engine Shed, where they are still covered.

A couple of photos is following. All the photos come from the book;Η ΙΣΤΟΡΙΑ ΤΟΥ ΣΙΔΗΡΟΔΡΟΜΙΚΟΥ ΣΤΑΘΜΟΥ ΚΑΛΑΜΠΑΚΑΣ ΚΑΙ Η ΣΥΜΒΟΛΗ ΤΟΥ ΕΙΣ ΤΟΥΣ ΑΓΩΝΑΣ ΤΟΥ ΕΘΝΟΥΣ, by Ioannis Almpanis (ΟΛΥΜΠΟΣ editions-2010).It is a very nice book.I highly recommend it to everyone. However, the language is in the old style, so it is not the most easy book to read...
