Friends, if there is anything you would like to buy please do it before Brexit. The current prime minster is threatening to crash us out of Europe without a deal. I understand this to mean tariffs on imported goods.

Dear friends,
Unfortunately, after the U.K's general elections results, Brexit is unavoidable. Please check the following Royal Mail link regarding posting after January 31st. https://www.royalmail.com/brexit.
Some of you may have seen on my FB page https://www.facebook.com/christo.georgadidis.9 that my teaching days are behind me.
However with many good years before reaching a pensionable age, modelling activities will continue. The focus of these activities will change and not only. New projects will be added using existing and new techniques and materials.
To mark these changes, the forum will continue to be inclusive of all members work but will now have a new name, address and direction.

Hello my friends,

Something mysterious happened to me and I thought of sharing it with you. Last Saturday, my entire file containing my 3D work has vanished from my PC. The only reasonable explanation offered to me by experts was that it was accidentally sent to the Recycle Bin and then accidentally erased. I am devastated but as SG very rightly pointed out, I can spent more time with the grandchildren now.
At the same time, all your financial support for the forum fills me with hope for the future. Maybe the next MLW model, will be a wooden ride on one for the little ones.

Good morning Christe,
The syndrom is very common, and sometimes it is worth investing in a Recovery software like Partitionrecovery or EaseUS. The free versions are usually doing absolutely nothing other than telling you that in order to recover your files you MUST buy the full version!
The full versions are normally relatively low-priced (<50$), and in my point of view they can be incredibly useful.

Thanks for the suggestion Iossif. I was told that since most of the files were overwritten already, no software can achieve recovery.

My experience is that you never know...
Unless of course they already tried it!
