In Scale - International Goods Wagons

In Scale - International Goods Wagons

OK, I was thinking about this topic for quite some time.
Our good friend Olympus has a great reference list of some of the models that we could use to form our model freight trains http://hellenicrailwaymodels.blogspot.g ... odels.html
I was thinking of a place here too where we could help each other spotting the available models around.

I make the start with a quite interesting ROCO creation and a video from me and Jonmood of the A510 visit at Panorama Station :D

the OBB Shimmns Steel Coil Carriers
I've never met one in real life but I have seen it in some of the available videos

MLW A504&A454 leading two freight trains2.jpg

screenshot from Basilis Gian's video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rSZTcQkIfaI

it is available from ROCO at many liveries, DB, OBB, SNCF, SBB, NS etc
there is also a functional (with sound) 3 wagons set in some different railroads schemes, set number 66104 being the OBB one

Roco 66104.jpg

and here you can admire the wagons and the A510 in action. The sound isn't that clear we should have shut the MLW off...

Let's continue with models of Austrian freight wagons that come/came to Greece:
Klein Modellbahn 3451 ÖBB Gabs, era IV-V
This model has re-appeared as Roco 66800, I think there will be other versions in the future.
ÖBB_Gabs.JPG

Roco 47133 ÖBB Habbins, era V
I'm sure that there will be other versions of this model in the future

Thanks Andy, it would be interesting to know what out Turkish friends plan to do with this model.
We had some discussion about this and the tarpaulin one with Andreas and Stefan recently.
I (we)'ll be back with more details

Apart of the wagon Andy has mentioned Stefan has spotted another one we could easily model with a set of decals.
It can bee seen also at the video Andy has shared with us.
I had made some screen shots of an older Κωνσταντίνος Β. video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Ws8HyUpAZ4
All his videos are full of freight wagons and some interesting military loads too!
