Very interesting pictures, i have a little correction:
The b/w-Pictures are not taken in Germany, but in Switzerland by the ADtranz-TRAMONT (TRAktions-MONTage) Works in Zürich-Oerlikon. The OSE A471ff are the last locomotives they are assembled in this very traditional factory (former ABB, former MFO (Maschinenfabrik Oerlikon)). MFO has supplied a very big quantity of electric equipments for electric locomotives for Switzerland Railways and the world.

Thanks TEE for pointing this out ;)

Artemis Klonos http://www.railpictures.net/showphotos.php?userid=54924 has recorded the arrival of the first locos in Greece. No wonder how AlphaTrains has chosen the numbers of the models...
I guess most of us are aware of these photos, though it might be new for some of our visitors :D

I copy from Artemis' Railpictures post, http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=401229

"March 18, 1998. The very first OSE locomotives A 478 & A 475 of DE2000 class, just arrived from Italy with the vessel 'Kupari' at Elefsina port, Attica, Greece. Originally the two locomotives transported from ADtranz factory in Winterthur, Switzerland by road trailer in direction to Italy. Then, they reloaded to a ship in direction to Elefsina port and then they reloaded again to road trailer for e few kilometers to Elefsina station."
