I wonder at how many other countries this type has been used? give us some more info

Thanks BarbaPanagos, some very interesting shots in that link. :)

There were over 700 of those MacArthurs built, they were used all over the world, obviously in Greece and Australia, as well as most narrow gauge railways of the Middle East, Asia, India and both North and South America.

700, a quite successful type! I only wish we had a preserved one like yours...

From Facebook's Greek Narrow Gauge Railways group, Nestor Lappas, posted some pictures from an article by the prestigious french 'La vie du rail' under the title L'Hellade. No idea when publishing was done.
