Re-gauging from HO to HOm the Sudexpress EURO4000 to AFRO4000. A lot of metal grinding, filing, and general finger burning  before trying the new 3d printed plastic bogie holding clips.

A new nose on an HO model but still a lot of changes and improvements to completion. And yes, a shorter couple shank ;) .

Bemo railcar struggles to push, since engine pick ups are not connected yet.

AFRO4000 on its own power.

A beast of an engine but perfect running, even through the point. I am a genius :D , but Helen needs her dining table before we leave  , so packing up soon.

This is SAR class 22 in the making. The design work was finished by me, including the design for utilizing a Bachmann chassis and mechanism. Other work included redesigning the 20E both 3D and 2D as well as a foray into n gauge. Oh I forgot, I worked on all those Oz imports into South Africa.

Testing one two... testing one two...SAR class 20E running on portable HOm track next to Faur A156. The Canadian cabs in the fore ground await their transformation into models running on HOn3 track and using all my spare MLW bogies ;) . The track pieces to be used for this project are visible in the distance. But that will be a new topic, providing I can work around any objections raised by my beloved in making the dining table available  .
